Rhonda Konicki

Rhonda is from Fairbanks, aka. the Golden Heart City, Alaska. A small town by Lower 48 standards, but the second largest city in Alaska.

By day she works in healthcare, a high stress environment. Photography has become a regular part of down-time.

Favorite subjects are exploring outdoors with camera in hand, Aurora and Lowlight photo scenes, Annual Waterfowl Migration, and when the weather is not cooperating, she switches up her routine to indoor activities, experimenting with light-painting. Rhonda is a Member of Ice Alaska, presenters of the World Ice Art Championships, since 2003, and currently holds the position of PR Director and Lead Photographer.

There are some real challenges to photographing in Fairbanks, Alaska, in the winter, and a lot of it has to do with the weather and that we are located at Latitude 65 of this planet we call Earth. … [Read more...] about Artic Winter Air

January 4, 2019 By Rhonda Konicki Leave a Comment

Working on group projects, I’m often a little surprised with the disorganization of some photographers.  It’s like when we learn to drive a car, we spend most of our time understanding rules of the road how to safely control our vehicle and stay on our side of the road.  But, there’s that one other thing we all have to learn; how to parallel park. Organizing and filing our … [Read more...] about Behind the Scenes: Organizing Your Photos After a Shoot
