I love the different levels of contrast in this image. The shallow depth of field vs. the near infinity reflection, the bright orange paint in comparison to the deep blue skies.. and the white clouds in contrast to the dark background. I also appreciate that this is a self portrait with just a hint of the photographer in the reflection. Great job!
I love that the photographer didn’t take a typical car photo, but used a decorative elements to give a different perspective and reflection of the sky. I would have cloned out the other distracting items in the background.
Excellent creativity and composition.
Wonderful use of the lines, color, and depth of field. I too agree on the photographer NOT shooting a typical composition. Good eye in conceptualizing the shot.
I’ve actually seen this hot rod – at that time it did not have the vent. I have the photo to prove it! I like the colors, the sky reflected in the headlight, and the bokeh in the background. The detail give enough information for me to think hotrod. I think the selfie is cool too!
Shot at a Phoenix car show.
Once again, congratulations Don!

I love this photo – the colors and the composition are spot on. I really love the reflection – especially the blue skies in the back of the head lamp. Very nicely done! Congratulations!!
