This week’s PAC Community Recognition photo comes from our “Silhouettes” theme challenge. Although the Silhouettes theme brought us MANY wonderful photos from all our participating members, our highlighted photo is one of several submissions from this photographer that made it difficult to select just one. Our judges selected Sarah Hales as this week’s winner for her submission of “Neighborhood Bridge”.
Congratulations Sarah on your PAC Community Recognition!
We appreciate your participation and look forward
to more of your work in the future!
Sarah is one of our local Arizona photographers, shooting this week’s highlighted photo with a Nikon D40, recently upgrading to a D5000.
In this challenge, she used her camera to capture the dark silhouette of her subject, blending it with a stunning array of background colors in her post called “Neighborhood Bridge”. Her talent also shines in a second and third submission to the same theme, “In a Cornfield” and “Family of Four”.
To be considered for this Challenge, you only need to post your BEST three shots per day based on the current theme. Any details you can add to your post, such as caption or a brief story of your subject, will also be considered a plus. The winning photographer will have his or her photo published on the PAC blog for all to see!

yey Sarah!!
Thanks, Dana! : )
Oh, wow, thanks!! I just stumbled across this in Nick’s FB newsfeed as I was catching up on FB tonight … ha ha … hadn’t made it to the PAC feed yet.
What a treat to be recognized and featured – especially for a theme that was one of my favorites. I’ve really enjoyed my involvement with PAC so far … it’s been fun to meet new people and be inspired by other photographers. Really glad I ran across this group and decided to participate!
Thanks, again, anonymous PAC judges … very nice. 🙂
