Hi,
For years I’ve been telling photographers to learn the rules of composition, such as the Rule of Thirds, the S Curve of Beauty, etc. Many complained they didn’t like rules, or the rules were too old. But you have to learn the rules, and understand why they work. Then you can break them if, and only if, it will make a better photograph. Without knowing the rules, good photographs will only happen by luck.
