The team discusses filter and how they can fit into your current workflow. We also chat about if they can degrade your images or ruin your shots, lastly we discuss specialty filters such a Polarizers and such. Do you currently use filters on your cameras if so which kinds and why?

Funny, I just ordered a few new UV filters for protection for some of my lenses which somehow didn’t have any. I’ve heard arguments both sides and think the protection idea is valid. I use quality Hoya multicoated filters which are supposed to cut down on the glare/reflection issue. I also have a UV filter and circular polarizer which seem to be mated for life…can’t seem to separate them, though I did get them off the lens. I even tried latex gloves. Any ideas?
I have a Singh-Ray color enhancer filter which I’ve rarely used and a multi-ND circular Singh-Ray filter which I’ve rarely used either. I’d have to say I use the polarizer the most…and leave it on my camera often even when it should be off.
Thanks for the insights!

If they are stuck , you may want to look online to see how others take them apart, I have used tools before (carefully) to take one off an camera that had been dented – but it was not easy at all!
