Review: Holdfast Indispensable Wallet

May 29, 2017 By Staff Writer Leave a Comment

Wallets are a very personal thing. One’s lifestyle can determine what a person needs to carry.  For a while, I searched for something that suited me and my geeky photography life. It was not an easy quest. One day,  while at a PhotoPlus Expo, my search ended. I was introduced to the Holdfast Indispensable Wallet and I was actually impressed, here’s why.

While on my hunt for an ideal wallet, I was looking for something minimalistic. Fitting this simple requirement, the Indispensable Wallet also added somethings I did not know I needed. Handmade from a choice of leathers, (I went with black bison) with and outside pocket for ID’s, a quickly accessible flap covering a pocket for credit cards and a small bit of cash, the Holdfast Indispensable Wallet also had two memory slots.

The Indispensable Wallet is tailored well with sturdy stitching. Everything about the wallet is simple and clean. The wallet is made for photographers by a photographer. I always have additional memory cards, with me. With the Indispensable Wallet, I don’t need to have another memory card wallet in my pocket. One less thing to carry.

When I purchased my Indispensable Wallet I was finally satisfied. I have used the wallet for a long time now and I have not wanted another one. I discarded my old wallets without regrets. The Indispensable Wallet was worth every penny. While Holdfast does make other wallets, called the Hang wallet and the Explorer, the Indispensable Wallet is all I actually need. It’s just magnificent simplicity.
