Wild For Wildflowers!

February 15, 2012 By Staff Writer Leave a Comment

IMG_3340Colleen Miniuk-Sperry is a very renowned photographer and has published images with Arizona Highways.

Her favorite captures are exotic wild flowers that grow specifically in the regions of Arizona.   Her work reveals the hidden colors in the desert and her book co-authored by Paul Gill also highlights this beauty as well.

Those who attended the Smugmug sponsored meeting had the privilege of seeing her present valuable information on how to shoot wild flowers, what time of year and what locations to scout out.  Colleen was also generous enough to share the photo equipment she favors and a very thorough check list to have on hand if you are WILD about Wild Flowers!

The presentation was interesting, well delivered and appreciated by everybody in attendance.  For those unable to attend due to space limitations, I highly recommend picking up her book!

Thank you Smugmug, Photographers Adventure club and Colleen and her crew for an excellent evening!
