Press Release for today about Our Camera Club!

August 13, 2012 By Nicholas Pappagallo Jr. Leave a Comment

Members!

We are happy to announce that AZ Photographers Group & Photographers Adventure Club are merging!

This has been in the works since late 2011 and finally has become a reality, many of you have been enjoying some of the NEW benefits on the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PhotoAdventure/

We will still be hosting the SMUG Mug Meetings and are planning to host other events on the Westside as well!

What does this mean to you as an Member? ALOT! it means you will have access to larger, events both in AZ and outside of Arizona!  Some of the events will be more extreme and have difficulty ratings on them such as hikes or camping trips so that you can choose to opt in or out!

Minor changes that will not affect you (But you should be aware of): Changes in websites, domains, and reply emails will all be transferred in the coming months as parts of the merger move forward.

Other Great News! Our own Mark Killian and his team from 6ixGun (http://www.6IXGUN.com)  have been hard at work on creating a new image and website for the merged group check it out here: https://captureschool.net/

Save this in your Bookmarks so that you can access it when needed – it will eventually be our HUB outside of Meetup.com – We are looking to integrate the current AZPhotogs Tips Blog into the new page so that should be a lot easier to find and use!

If you have further questions or concerns or find any bugs/typos etc on the new site please email me privately to discuss them!

Thank you for your continued support!
