Who can join ?

This group is open to anyone who has a love for photography and wants to meet and network with photographers of all skill levels. Our group is comprised of a good mix of amateurs, semi-professionals and pro photographers.

Where does the club operate ?

Our “photo community” extends through Arizona, California, Washington, Pennsylvania, Alaska, Nevada, Utah, Indiana, Texas, New Jersey, Oregon, North Carolina, and Florida! We are continually expanding. We have favored places such as Antelope Canyon, Canyon De Chelly, Monument Valley, Sedona, Yellowstone National Park and Yosemite National Park. Our camera community participates in photo-walks, studio photography, workshops, seminars, and model shoots.

We are always traveling and exploring beautiful scenery like the beauty you see in National Geographic. As a community we are dedicated to “finding the light” and the shot! Our group leaders research the best time of year for certain photographic locations, best times to shoot and often coordinates private photography tours in remote locations.

What kind of camera do I need ?

Brand and type is not important. Most of our members have DSLR cameras with several lenses to choose from, but as we like to say “its not the camera its the photographer”. We have members who are using film cameras and mirrorless point and shoot cameras and even iPhone cameras so it does not matter as long as you want to learn and share your passion for photography with others.

How often do you meet ?
