This is great. I appreciate the thinking outside the box on this. Great job.
I love that this is out of the box thinking for the title.
Simple composition – a green light for those that don’t process the connection right away. Blurred background keeps me right on the subject.
Jenne’s Comments
I was just trying to think out of the box on this one, but still adhere to the spirit of the competition.
I don’t shoot with my “nifty fifty” often, so I thought I’d blow the dust off of it for this. It worked well for the dim light and dark keyboard.
Congratulations, Jenne!!

I like both the subject and color in this image. Having the second crab in the background compliments the foreground. A product of a good eye recognizing an image. Nice shot.
Those bright colors really stand out!
Love the colors and the focus on the crab in the foreground!
Christine’s Comments
The Galapagos are filled with all sorts of interesting creatures, some found nowhere else. The colorful Sally Lightfoot crabs aren’t unique to the Galapagos, but like many other species there, they have adapted & developed unique colors or forms suited to that environment.
Congratulations, Christine!!

Good bokeh, I like the heart stone juxtaposed against the neutral color rocks.
I like the setting as it aids in drawing you right to the subject. Good use of light as well. Lighting these types of images can be a huge challenge.
Stone and metal on stones. Nice work with the metal. Like the chain in the background.
Carol’s Comments
I have a passion for jewelry and gemstones. When this theme came up I was motivated to share some of favorites. My birthstone (December) happens to be blue topaz, so needless to say I love this stone. The color reminds me of the deep blue ocean in the Caribbean. Necklace designer ‘Judith Ripka’.
Congratulations, Carol!!
