::Google+ Weekly Photography Theme “Peace” Recognition::
From last week’s Google+ PAC Community weekly “Peace” photography contest theme challenge, the judges have chosen to highlight Larry Pollock. His photo “Peace-Buddha Enlightened” is peaceful in itself. There is great composition and his angle demands attention to his subject. The sun’s halo adds an element of “awe” to the image as well. Congratulations, Larry Pollock!
The wooden statue is approximately 6 feet high and is located at the Amitabha Stupa in Sedona.
Larry reports his settings for these pictures as:
Shutter speed: 1/2000
Exposure bias -0.3
The “Renaissance Man,” Larry is an entrepreneur based in Sedona, Arizona. With a passion for photography, he officially turned pro in 2012. He shoots both commercial and fine art photography. He admittedly loves landscape and wildlife photography. Being based in Arizona it’s easy to see why. “As a photographer I try to look for interesting and different angles in the things we see every day.” Larry said.
Larry nailed it with this shot. His passion for photography is obvious from his regular posts with PAC. If you haven’t already, stop by his Google+ page and explore the world through the lens of Larry Pollock.
