I suspect a lot more went into post for this shot than is obvious – which makes it my pick. The composition is natural but not ordinary. Great preservation of texture.

See this is the difference between a snapshot of your pet and an amazing composition. Well done.
- This is a composite using my dog’s face layered on top of images of my eyes using Photoshop 5. Afterwards, it was processed using OnOne filters to add a little glow and enhance the colors. The original shots were done using a homemade beauty dish with a Nikon SB600 flash.
