This was a great story I saw pop up in my feed today and wanted to share it with PAC. A photojournalist was paid $10,000 for misuse and stolen images and “pays it forward” to other photographers in her industry!
She is amazingly creating ten $1000 photography grants for other photojournalists to help them along. In a business that is usually very narcissistic and ego driven, this was a breath of fresh air for me.
I wish more photographers would give back to the photography community. That being said I wanted to give thanks to all the volunteers that give back to PAC every day – without them there would be no PAC!

Thank you Nicholas Pappagallo for sharing this informative conversation. I will share with my FB connections. It is so aggravating and time consuming but so necessary, to have to monitor ones personal photos against the heavy traffic of photography theft out there on the internet highway! This woman has integrity in spades. 🙂
