The West Michigan PAC group held two photowalks this past weekend — one in Grand Haven, the other in Kalamazoo.

Saturday’s Walk at Grand Haven “Winterfest”

Eight photographers took advantage of the winter sun and warm temps, to trek out to Grand Haven for its annual “Winterfest” event. We photographed the family dog pull race, as well as the cardboard sled race. We ended the day by driving over to the Grand Haven State Park, where we explored the ice-covered pier.

Sunday’s Walk at the Kalamazoo Nature Center

Six photographers braved the misting rain as they toured the Kalamazoo Nature Center. Temperatures were in our favor. The rain plus the warmer temperatures made for some great foggy photographic moments as well. Some attendees came from Grand Rapids while others joined in the fun from Kalamazoo making new friends and learning a bit more about the amazing and ever changing environment of Michigan.
