‘Humpday Highlights’ PAC Community Recognition

November 28, 2012 By Staff Writer Leave a Comment

ReflectionThe PAC Community Leaders are always looking for new ways to engage our members to stretch beyond their normal reach and area of expertise with their photography.  We do this within our FB Group, Photographer’s Adventure Club,  by promoting different technical and visual themes as well as special Challenges.

This week, we introduced a new Challenge to encourage photographers to post their best shots based on the rotating themes for the week.  Each Wednesday, a panel of anonymous judges will select one photo from the week’s posts that stands out among the rest.  To be considered for this Challenge, you only need to post your BEST three shots per day based on the current theme.  Any details you can add to your post, such as caption or a brief story of your subject, will also be considered a plus.  The winning photographer will have his or her photo published on the PAC blog for all to see!

Our first week’s winner is Al Whitaker!

Congratulations Al on your PAC Community Recognition!

Al is one of our most active club members, sharing his dry sense of humor, artistic creativity and story telling through  his camera lens and witty posts. Al has delighted us with photos of his dog ( Tucker’s ‘Buff n’ Shine’ ) and his composition and presentation of every day life (~ Clocks ~ Pile o’ Clock ), as well as many other great photos, to meet our Theme challenges.

Al’s recent post for “Reflections in Water” has earned him our judges’ recognition this week. Congratulations Al! We appreciate your participation and support in our club!”
